How this result is calculated

Reviewed pages are the sum of the two mutually exclusive classifications. Actionability uses reviewed pages as its denominator. Review coverage uses all delivered pages. The remaining pages stay unreviewed rather than being counted as noise. Effort multiplies page count by average active handling time.

## Method
Reviewed pages are the sum of the two mutually exclusive classifications. Actionability uses reviewed pages as its denominator. Review coverage uses all delivered pages. The remaining pages stay unreviewed rather than being counted as noise. Effort multiplies page count by average active handling time.

Define a page consistently, such as one notification delivered to one responder. Actionability is not alert precision, and low page volume does not prove good detection. This tool has no missed-incident data and cannot calculate recall. A non-actionable page is a candidate for investigation, not automatic deletion.

How it works

Reviewed pages are the sum of the two mutually exclusive classifications. Actionability uses reviewed pages as its denominator. Review coverage uses all delivered pages. The remaining pages stay unreviewed rather than being counted as noise. Effort multiplies page count by average active handling time.

Follow the example

Of 240 delivered pages, 180 have been reviewed and 60 remain unclassified. Review coverage is 75%, while 33.33% of reviewed pages required action. Eight minutes per page estimates 32 responder-hours in total, or 5.33 hours each if six responders shared the work equally.

What to account for

Define a page consistently, such as one notification delivered to one responder. Actionability is not alert precision, and low page volume does not prove good detection. This tool has no missed-incident data and cannot calculate recall. A non-actionable page is a candidate for investigation, not automatic deletion.
