Meta Platforms

Meta Platforms develops assistant experiences and model families alongside its social products. Meta AI names assistant experiences in applications, on the web and across services. Meta Superintelligence Labs introduced the Muse model series beginning with Muse Spark, which Meta announced as powering the Meta AI app and website in April 2026. Separately, Muse is the name of a personal-agent product announced in September; the shared name does not make the agent and model series interchangeable. Llama is a different model family for builders, with open weights under version-specific community licenses rather than unrestricted terms. Meta reported more than a billion monthly actives using Meta AI in October 2025, a historical assistant audience across surfaces. Llama's billion cumulative downloads are a separate March 2025 metric, not people or active deployments. Consumers should check regional eligibility and connected-app access; builders should check model licensing and hosting requirements. Planned Muse Confidential VM and glasses support remain announced intentions here.
